Interminable, filthy, swampy - these are only a few of the many different words used to describe a paddy field. Many won't even spare a second glance at the vast field of bright green which encases the very thing that feeds us. It's safe to say that it is taken for granted. Rarely do people realize how imperative and compelling paddy fields are due to their plain and dreary appearance. In a different light, you would realize the beauty of the paddy field as it turns from yellow to green bit by bit in its own pace and the soft rustling of the paddy on a windy day. The gentle ripples as the paddy dances with the wind, the way each individually planted paddy which stands proudly on its own, sways harmoniously as one.
